MIB at Greenheys Care Home
Men in Black performed at Greenheys Care Home in Waterloo on Thursday March 30th. We had an audience of 40/50 who were celebrating the birthday of one of their residents.
It was good to have David Andrew directing us again after his jaunts across the world. We sung a varied programme of old and ancient numbers ending with an encore of Wild Irish Rose. It must be noted that our more modern songs “Breaking Up ” and “Pretty Woman” went down particularly well.
Monica, ( Greenhey’s Manager ) paid us a nice tribute and said the residents and staff had been truly entertained and promised to book Men in Black for future events.
Geoff Williams introduced all the songs in his own inimitable style although he did need a few reminders as to the title of the songs. Jim Little again blew the key notes with his usual gusto
