2018 Southport Music Festival

On Friday, 12 October the Wayfarers Chorus once more competed in the music festival, against other choruses from the region.

Our rivals this year were Just Voices, North West Harmony and Mersey Harmony and our songs were Pretty Woman, In My Life and Do You Hear The People Sing.

We had virtually a full chorus singing this year, all wearing our new uniform, an impressive sight according to the judge and members of the audience. Unfortunately despite this and one of our better performances we were narrowly beaten to top spot by our local ladies chorus, Just Voices.

The judge was generous with her praise and the feedback from the audience was excellent, but the trophy eluded us. 

Next year maybe we should go in masked and tooled up!
